How do you find your voice as a worship leader? This week we are joined by artist and songwriter, Leanna Crawford to talk about finding your sound.
Leanna Crawford is an incredible vocalist and songwriter out of Nashville and tours regularly with artists such as Michael W. Smith, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North, and Matt Maher. Her passion is to serve young women who struggle with self-doubt and insecurity through music that empowers them.
In episode 106, Leanna shares her story about what it took for her to find her voice and pursue her calling in music. It’s our constant downfall as humans to compare ourselves to others. But here’s the thing… there will always be someone out there who’s better than you and that’s OKAY. Because comparison is the number one thing you can do to prevent owning who you are.
Perfection is a religious mindset and an unreachable goal. The pursuit of perfection only leads to disappointment but the pursuit of a relationship with God brings life.
No matter your situation, your past, your skill, your inexperience, remember this…YOU HAVE A VOICE inside you that the enemy will never stop trying to hide.
