Right before the Pandemic hit back in March, host, Brenton Miles, sat down with Leeland and had an incredible conversation about his journey in worship and music. We delayed these episodes in light of coronavirus, but are thrilled to be releasing them now.

Leeland came to the forefront of the worship music world in 2004 and debuted their first project, the revolutionary Sound of Melodies, in 2006. Fast forward to now with four GRAMMY® nominations and eight GMA Dove Award® nominations under their belts, Leeland has become one of the most important voices in a new generation of worship music. Their lives, ministry, and music are a true extension of their passion to simply worship God personally and in community.

In episode 122, Leeland talks about the process of working on his first record, and the influence his parents’ had on him spiritually and throughout his songwriting.

He shares all about the divinely favored road to being signed at 16-years-old; the process of recording Sound of Melodies; and tons of hilarious stories & revelations about life, family, & fascination with Jesus that he gathered along the way.
