When was the last time you sat down to have a meal with someone that didn’t look like you or that you didn’t agree with? What if saving the world starts by gathering around the table with people who are different than you?
The essence of the table of Christ is that there is a seat for everyone, no matter what they identify with or where they stand on a political or social issue. As the body of Christ, the table is our call!
Today we talk with someone who’s given her life to do that amidst all the other incredible things the Lord has called her to.
Rita Springer is an artist, a writer, a worship leader, a mother, a spiritual mother, an artist’s school leader, and so much more. She defines what it looks like to be authentic to the call on her life over the obsessive focus on the pursuit of becoming successful according to Western standards; all the while doing incredibly massive and successful things in each field. She’s dedicated to growing in wisdom and being a safe place for everyone, no matter who they are, to come sit with her and her family at the table.
If you want to be challenged to grow in wisdom, grow in loving people, and learn what it looks like to make the transition from mentorship to spiritual mothering & fathering, this episode is for you.
