Episode 58 is one to bookmark for future reference as hosts, Brenton Miles & Libby Lewis sit down with pop artist & songwriter Fleurie! Fleurie has been writing music for years and has been involved with leading worship as a young girl growing up in church.
After spending some time in Sydney at the Hillsong International Leadership College, she realized quickly that her dreams of being a worship pastor were changing to becoming an artist, and that God had bigger plans for her outside the four walls of church.
In this episode, we talk about musical gifts, calling, and what it looks like to create outside of church world, as many musicians and songwriters in the church feel called to reach people outside of church (which we are all called to do).
Fleurie (Lauren Strahm) is also actively involved in serving in her local church on the worship team as well as writing songs for church.
