This week we are joined by worship leader and songwriter, Jon Egan! Jon Egan has been serving at New Life Church in Colorado Springs for over 18 years and is one of the founders of the Desperation Conference as well as Desperation Band. He’s written incredible songs including “On The Throne,” “My Savior Lives,” “Overcome,” and “I Am Free” just to name a few.

In episode 74, Jon shares how he’s been able to build such an influential culture of authentic worship in his church. We all strive to be authentic in our worship, but it’s easy to get stuck in what’s familiar and lose our initial passion.

Listen in as Jon gives example after example of how he’s been able to lead his church into a place of healing. And be sure to check out his first ever solo album “Unveil” now available everywhere music is heard!

“I hope Unveil portrays that rawness and realness as you listen to real people playing and singing, real people who are in their journey of the in-between – between death and resurrection, people who are in the waiting, in the groaning, people who can help others know they are not alone and that Jesus is there.” -Jon Egan
