About Zahriya Zachary

Zahriya Zachary grew up in Spring, Texas, in a home where music wasn’t a big focus, yet she discovered her love for it at six years old while learning piano. Although she didn’t come from a musical family, she quickly developed a passion for melody and worship. In college, she studied philosophy while volunteering on her church’s worship team, sensing that God was calling her to lead worship. Those early experiences shaped her understanding of what it means to be a worshiper before being a performer.

Journey into Worship Leadership

As a freshman in college, Zahriya Zachary felt God invite her to step deeper into worship. Serving in her church helped her learn more than music; it taught her how to carry a worshiper’s heart wherever she went. When she joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2021, she stepped into a new level of influence with humility and a grounded sense of belonging. Leading the song “Back To Life” marked her first official release with Bethel Music and introduced her voice to a global audience.

Music & Ministry Highlights

Zahriya Zachary has been featured on several Bethel Music projects, including her debut solo single “Simple Ways” in 2022 and the recent release “Better Than I Thought.” She led the powerful song “Surrounded By Holy” on the album Come Up Here and also appeared on the live single “If The Lord.” Her songs are moments of surrender, rediscovery, and invitation, always drawing people closer to God. Through her online presence and ministry, she encourages worshipers to pursue authenticity rather than performance.
